As mobility becomes the norm, and wireless devices become more powerful, one of the industries most powerful devices made its debut to at&t and Rogers Communication today.  The Google Nexus One was arguably one of the most marketed and sought after mobile devices in recent memory (post iPhone memory).  In January the Nexus One was released to T-Mobile, and it experienced a surge in sales.

Now comes the true test, will the at&t smartphone (the iPhone) experience pressure from the Nexus One.  Only time will tell.  There have been countless new applications that have been developed for the Nexus One; however, the iPhone still has a significant edge on the number of available applications for download.

Although I have an Android based device, I am placing my bets on the iPhone maintaining its edge in market share among at&t smartphone users.
